How do I ride the tow rope?

  • Tickets go on sale Wednesday at noon for the coming weekend/week.

    Click the blue ‘Buy Tickets’ button to bring you to the ticket sales page.

    Add your chosen session to your cart, with the quantity of tickets needed, and continue to check out.

    A ticket drop is when the tickets go on sale, or are “dropped”, Wednesdays at noon.

    Tickets are $23 per person, all ages, for a session.

  • There are no special skills needed for snow-tubing.

    However, not all hills are the same.

    On your first visit, start with the Bunny Hill to get the hang of riding up then down the hill.

    Work your way up to the larger hills when you are ready for more challenging runs and lifts.

    Staff are there to help and answer your questions!

  • No.

    When you buy a ticket, you agree to the terms stated on your ticket.

  • Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your session begins.

    Have your reservation number ready to read off to claim your tickets at the ticket booth.

    When your session is over, please plan on leaving as quickly as possible.

  • DUTIES OF INDIVIDUALS ENGAGED IN TUBING: Under Wisconsin law, each individual engaged in tubing has a duty to do all of the following:

    1. Obey all posted warnings and signs.

    2. Keep out of closed areas.

    3. Know the range of his or her ability and engage in tubing within that ability.

    4. Assess the difficulty of the terrain that is open to tubing.

    5. Maintain control of the speed and direction of the tube or other device that is being used.

    6. Comply with any posted limits imposed on the number of passengers or on the amount of weight of the tube or other device while it is being ridden.

    7. Be able to safely board, ride, and deboard any lift serving an area open to tubing.

    8. Board and deboard a lift only at designated sites.

    9. Yield to other individuals engaged in tubing who are ahead or who are down the slope.

    10. Look uphill and yield to oncoming tubes before leaving the bottom of the hill at the end of a run.

  • No. Each tuber needs their own tube, and their own ticket.

    We have small tubes for children.

  • No discounts available during scheduled hours.

  • Everyone tubing needs a ticket.

  • There is no age or height limit at Badlands.

    Parents/guardian are responsible for choosing the appropriate terrain for their child’s skill level.

  • Helmet use is at the discretion of each individual.

    Badlands does not rent helmets.

  • Yes, chaining is allowed.

    However, restrictions may be enforced at any time, on every hill.
